Jenna and Walker’s love story started at Iowa State University, growing into a life built together through physical therapy school in Ankeny, a city they fell for so completely that it led them to say “I do” in the lofted space at The District, a beautiful Des Moines wedding venue. Surrounded by over 100 friends and family, the day was filled with soft, romantic details, pastel florals, glowing candles, and Jenna’s grace and Walker’s devout faith woven throughout. Savannah and Ben celebrated their May wedding at Toast, a stunning Des Moines wedding venue, surrounded by friends and family who traveled from across the country to be there. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, from the cream and blue color palette to Savannah’s elegant, sleek gown and the bridesmaids’ mismatched blue florals. Madison and Malachi said “I do” on an early August day at White Knot Barn in Prole, Iowa, one of our favorite rustic wedding venues near Des Moines. Madison wore a simple white gown with detailed lace and a cathedral veil, paired with bridesmaids in butter yellow, while faith and gratitude were woven through the entire day with prayers shared throughout. As a Des Moines wedding photographer, I loved capturing the joy and emotion between Madison and Malachi from first look to last dance, including a showstopping groomsmen performance straight out of Pitch Perfect.

Ashley and Ryan’s wedding day began at Toast Venue in Ankeny, where the bride, groom, and wedding party got ready before an intimate round of portraits. From there, the celebration moved to a beautiful church ceremony, followed by a lively bus ride back to Toast for a reception full of joy.
